This original painting is acrylic on 24×18 canvas. Behind my favorite ice cream shop in Door County sits this home, or looks like once was a home, nestled in the woods. Its color and texture blended right in with the surrounding scene, almost as if camouflaged. I have painted a few black and white paintings in the past and have always loved the look. The contrast of shadows and light is great for these colors. It almost has a haunting look to it.
